VALERIO CANTORI (Keyboards, Arranging & Musical Direction) was born in Cento di Ferrara near the city of Bologna, Italy. He studied classical piano at the Conservatory of Carpi (Modena) and studied musicology at the DAMS (Department of Arts, Music and Show) at the University of Bologna.
He sharpened his skills on cruise ships as a pianist, bandleader and bandmaster. He then took over the music direction of The Phantom Of The Opera at the Cuillo Theatre in West Palm Beach and toured with the spanish-born singer Charo. He performed with legendary vocalist Sam Moore (aka "Mr. Soulman") and played on the national tours of The Full Monty, Hairspray and Wicked. In his vast career, Valerio opened for Lionel Richie, The Pointer Sisters and The Temptations. He was featured on an episode of the ABC soap-opera All My Children and also accompanied superstar tenor Andrea Bocelli. Recently, he toured internationally with the Klezmer Company Orchestra (resident ensemble at the Florida Atlantic University) and with his instrumental jazz group Sound Of Vision, performing his own compositions and arrangements.
BARBARA EVANS (Vocals) is gifted with a clear, distinctive voice that is instantly recognizable. She possesses a rare artistic versatility that evokes a sophisticated style of her own. Her extensive vocal range and ability to change the sound and strength of her voice makes her performances supreme.
She has graced the fashion runways of Europe and speaks several languages. While in Europe she also toured as a vocalist, hosted talk shows and appeared as an actress on prime time television. However, real opportunity knocked at her door when she was offered a once in a lifetime chance to perform for the great tenor Pavarotti. She charmed legendary producer Quincy Jones with her signature vocals and has shared the stage with Mariah Carey, Patti Labelle and Michael Bolton.
